I really enjoyed this book it was much better then any of the books in The War of the Spider Queen. Lisa Smedman is becoming one of my favourite Forgotten Realms authors and is one of the best of the new authors. This book is great for the entire book you are left in the dark about the intentions of the key characters (except the priestess’s of Eilistraee). I had been unsure of this book because the War of the Spider Queen books were not particularly interesting but love this book and after the first few chapters could not put it down.
