The Spirit Stone (The Dragon Mage Book 5) By Katharine Kerr

This book seemed more of a set-up then a story on its own The army delivers a warning by destroying Zakh Gral so we end up feeling we are just waiting for the Horsekin response. The entire section in the past featuring Nevyn is just set-up on the history of the black pyramid. Neb and Branna get virtually no development. Laz Moj is a bit of a disappointment after all the talk of the evil Mazrak. But it is a great book and I could not put it down though I am starting to lose track of the past lives of the characters and I miss Nevyn in the Present Timeline.
