The City of Towers (Eberron: Dreaming Dark Book 1) By Keith Baker
Daine and his companions are the last of there unit in the Cyran army now that Cyre has been destroyed they have come to the city of Sharn so Lei can marry her betrothed. But when they find that her betrothed is dead and she has been excoriated they find themselves in desperate need of money. When Daine finds a former associate is now living in Sharn they accept a job recovering some of her missing property. The job finds them up against some people who have been magically altered with monster's abilities and disappearing dragonmarked people.

This is an ok book it is nothing special in characters and storyline still it was a fairly entertaining me read as is the least you can expect from an Eberron novel.
